 Granby Flower Barrels Replanted By Lions Commitee

The Granby Lions Beautification Commitee replanted the flower barrels that are donated to the city by our Lions Club.

With good old fashioned hard work and the ability to withstand some pretty cold weather on Wednesday the 18th of October the commitee completed the project and the City of Granbys' flower barrels are ready for winter.

 Granby Lions Recycle For Sight

Granby, Mo. 10-16-06 As winter gets under way, the Granby Lions are asking people to look through dresser drawers and closets for used eyeglasses and donate them to the Lions Recycle For Sight program.

During the remainder of 2006 and throughout 2007 the Granby Lions Club will be collecting used prescription eyeglasses and prescription and non-prescription sunglasses as part of a unique recycling program. The collected glasses will be cleaned and prepared for distribution in developing countries where eye care is often unaffordable and inaccessible.
